My excursion

I own a 00'7.3L excursion and we get about 14 mpgs with about 135,000 miles. As so many of you have said, I am extremely pleased with my vehicle. I have owned my 00' since Dec 03 and have been to Fla and back a couple of times. I am a soldier in the Army Reserves and when I got called up in November 04' I had to report to Ft. Mc Coy Wi. and my wife drove up there to send me off to IRAQ on Dec 31,04, and she told me over and over how glad she was that we owned this vehicle. She also drove back up to Ft McCoy to pick me up to bring me back to Houston where we live, and again she was singing praise for our vehicle.
I have known others that owned the V-10 and were not impressed with it's ability to tow a 28' travel trailer, so they traded it for a 4X4 Dodge Cummins, and less that a year bought another Excusion.
Well I have been rambling on long enough, all I can say is enjoy the Diesel Excursion, because no matter what the fuel prices are because if ya'll are like me it ain't gonna stop me from driveing my TRUCK!
